I think I have my courses all planned out for the next year. If all goes according to plan (I'm sure it won't), I should only have to take one course next summer to be able to finish in a neat five years. This of course is dependent on all the remaining courses I need after my planned schedule for 09-10 is done being offered between 10-11. This is convenient, because if I only end up needing to take one course outside of regular semester time, if I end up having to upgrade my math I can do it next summer.

I have a lot of friends who are crazybig into music. I think this is partly because I can't relate to people who don't live and breathe rhythm and lyrics and melodies to a degree.

Most of the people I know have one band that is their band. Ranging from blink-182 to Johnny Cash to Brand New to Tom Waits to The Libertines to The Beatles to Against Me!, no matter how long it's been since these people have listened to their band, it's still their band. It's the band they'd cry over if they broke up. It's the band they spend hours mourning had long since broken up by the time they found them. It's the band that never gets old, no matter how familiar the songs.

Tell me what that band is for you, no matter how long or how short you've loved them, or how embarrassing it might be. Then tell me your favourite songs by them/him/her. I want to learn about music through people's memories and weird, totally intangible associations. Show me a little soul.

On request, I can do some of these. I think the use of singular for "their band" might be a little misleading. I think I have multiples. If you do, go wild.
